Games, film and creative projects

Concept art, mood boards and placeholder assets, at the speed of a conversation.

Creative projects need images long before they need finished art: a mood board for the pitch, a silhouette to test a character, a rough environment to see whether the idea holds. That early stage is where a generator changes how the work goes, because the cost of trying a direction drops to a single credit.

Concept work, not final assets

Treat generated images as reference and exploration. They are excellent at "what if the city was built into a canyon" and unreliable at consistency — the same character across ten frames will drift, because every generation starts fresh. What survives is the idea, the palette, the composition and the silhouette, which is exactly what a concept pass is supposed to produce.

JobHow to prompt it
Character explorationOne sentence per variant: age, build, outfit, mood
Environment moodPlace, time of day, weather, camera height
Prop or item sheetOne object, plain background, straight-on view
Key artWide framing, one focal subject, dramatic light
Style testThe same prompt through several styles

Getting a consistent look across a set

Keep one sentence fixed across every prompt in the set — the palette, the light and the rendering style — and vary only the subject. That fixed phrase is doing the same job as a style guide, and it holds a set together far better than repeating the character's name, which the model does not know.

Styles like Comic, Cartoon, Low poly and Isometric map directly onto production looks, and the full list is on the edit styles page.

When to move on

A generator is a starting point for a pipeline, not the pipeline. When the project needs the same character in a hundred poses, rigged, animated and consistent, that is an artist's job and no prompt replaces it. Use the cheap end for exploration, then hand the winning direction to the people who will build it — and if the tooling needs to sit inside your own studio pipeline, the API does that in a few lines.
